The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has fixed the interest rate at 8.15% for 2022-23, as per today’s press release. The Central Board recommended an 8.15 % annual interest rate to be credited on EPF accumulations in members’ accounts for 2022-23.
The press release stated that the interest rate would be officially notified in the government gazette after approval of the Ministry of Finance, following which EPFO would credit the rate of interest into its subscribers’ accounts.
