This growth rate is lower than the Reserve Bank of India’s 6.4 percent growth forecast and the Economic Survey’s projection of 6.5 percent.

We expect India’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth to touch 6 percent in fiscal 2024, compared with 7 percent estimated by the National Statistical Organisation (NSO) for fiscal 2023, the rating agency said in its report.
