Venture capital funding into Indian startups dropped 77.5% year-on-year to $2.1 billion in the March quarter, KPMG’s latest ‘Venture Pulse’ report showed.
VC firms invested $9.3 billion in Indian startups in Q1 2022 and $2.8 billion in Q4 2022. The latest figure is also the joint-lowest since the second quarter of 2018 when Indian startups raised $1.7 billion.
