Cricket icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been appointed as the official Brand Ambassador for India’s largest lender, the State Bank of India, with the aim of enhancing its appeal, especially among the younger demographic. Dhoni is set to play a prominent role in the bank’s marketing and promotional initiatives. In a comparable move among public sector banks, Bank of Baroda selected Rahul Dravid as its brand ambassador.
