A government official indicated that the geographical formation in J&K, where 5.9 million tonnes of lithium resources were recently established, likely extends beyond the original location.
The geological exploration (in that area) was primarily focused on…[limestone and bauxite], and lithium just happened to be discovered, so the scope of the exploration is now being widened, the official said.
