WhatsApp has recently introduced some changes in the data privacy protection of the individual. However, the policy has been observed different for Europe and India. WhatsApp gives the option to choose whether the individual wants to share his/her data with other social media platforms like Facebook. Whereas, in India, the user doesn’t get the option to choose. A WhatsApp user in India has no option if they don’t want to share their personal information. This double standard from WhatsApp has been criticized by millions of people. People are also getting ready to ditch WhatsApp and shift to its alternative.
